Dear Customer,
I am Mike Erwin, maker and owner of Erwin Cues and Master Cue & Repair. I began to learn my trade in the 1970's in Memphis, TN as foreman of one of the most popular cue maker s in the industry. I decided to leave them in Sept. of 89 and started my own cue repair business Master Cue & Repair along with my son, Scott, who has been with the company since he was thirteen. Together we have 43 yrs. of experience in the industry. We finally had an opportunity to expand our craft in the early 90's and began making cues of our own.
Our cues are known as Erwin and can be called so with pride. The cues are handled only by my son and I(occasionally my daughters). Each cue is built to last, made only of the finest woods and inlay materials. We use woods such as Cocobolo, Birdseye maple, Gabon & Macassar ebony, Brazilian rosewood, Bocote, Ziricote, Snakewood, etc. and burls of Thuya, Amboyna, and Chechen. As well as materials like the beautiful Mother-of-pearl, Abalone, Ivory, etc. Coming soon we ll also have Pau, Tigereye, Agate, Jade, etc. (All these and many more will be listed on the custom cue page which will be up and running shortly.) All cues are made by hand and lathe NO CNC. Each cue is crafted with care and are known as one of the most color coordinated cues in the industry.
